  • Oil.
  • Ghee.
To make the South Indian Recipes first, add ghee and oil to the pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves to it and saute well. Now add Rava and fry it well. Roast it in medium flame continuously but do not burn it. After roasting it allow it to cool. In the side, add curd in a bowl, ginger, carrot, salt, chillies, salt and mix it well. Add the roasted Rava to it and mix until there are no lumps in it. Also, add the chopped coriander leaves in it and keep the batter aside for 15-30 minutes to settle.

After the given time, add some water to it and make it into idli batter consistency. Now pour this batter in idli steamer and let it cook in medium flame for 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the idli from the mould and serve it. Now, your Instant Rava Idli is ready which will be very delicious when served with coconut chutney.
